According to the ministry, the Istanbul facility will become Uber’s fourth global technology hub outside the United States, joining similar centres in Brazil, India, and the Netherlands.

The new hub is expected to focus on software innovation, mobility solutions, and digital infrastructure, contributing to the country’s growing technology ecosystem. Turkish officials said the investment underscores confidence in Turkey’s skilled tech workforce and its strategic position bridging Europe and Asia.
