The show, developed for television by Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti—who directed the original films and The Flash—alongside Jason Fuchs (IT Chapter Two, Wonder Woman, Argylle), explores the sinister history of Derry, Maine. Muschietti also directs multiple episodes, ensuring continuity with the film universe.

Plot Overview
Set in 1962, the story follows Leroy (Adepo) and Charlotte Hanlon (Paige) as they relocate to the seemingly ordinary town of Derry after Leroy’s military service. However, the town quickly reveals its dark past, marked by mysterious child disappearances, supernatural creatures, and other unsettling phenomena that foreshadow the terror to come.
