The minister emphasized the importance of exploring digitalization in logistics within the framework of the North-South international transport corridor, noting its potential to enhance the Caspian region’s role as a key transport, energy, and cultural hub in Eurasia.

Lavrov also praised the forum’s comprehensive agenda, which will address a wide array of pressing topics, including the development of a Caspian digital ecosystem, the expansion of digital trade, and measures to combat deepfakes. He expressed confidence that the discussions would be productive and foster the creation of new joint projects and initiatives benefiting the Caspian region and its residents.
